The world is in the grip of the most devastating hunger crisis ever seen. Conflict, coronavirus, the climate emergency and economic turbulence have all led to this steep rise in hunger globally.
We’re providing life-saving food and protecting children from harm in communities facing this devastating hunger crisis but we need to do more. At least 45 million children are suffering from wasting, which is the most visible and severe form of malnutrition, and potentially life-threatening. We are urgently scaling up our humanitarian response in 8 of the most affected countries.
